NICKLAUS BARTELLI
MY MISSION
My passions are sharing stories and promoting ideas that cause people to think deep, stories that don't have hidden agendas, stories with emotion, and people who hold the key to bringing others joy. The world needs real journalists, content creators, and researchers who get uncomfortable for a cause.
In my spare time I focus on raising money and working for the Syrian refugee communities in rural Lebanon. Some of my favorite writers include Robert Fisk, Isaiah Berlin, and Nabeel Qureshi. A few of my favorite films are Capernaum, Erin Brokovich, and The Green Mile.
I hope to expand the works on this page, creating content that showcases the contemporary and fresh feel of my video style. Hope you enjoy. Contact me below!
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
I founded a men’s Christian Greek Life on
the college campus of Pittsburg State
University before graduating. This group
has earned excellent recognition in the
community, and it maintains strong
numbers in membership and finances, and
is highly esteemed through the campus
activities center.
Through the Communication department at Pittsburg State, I was a part of the
university’s first ever televised election
coverage. I held the first internship in
several years at the local NPR-affiliate,
89.9 KRPS and created weekly local news
where there once existed no local content.
Through student government at Pittsburg State, I distributed over $6,000 in scholarships and awards, expanded upon what was a near obsolete free printing service for students, created funding for $2,000 for student grants, and started a monthly faculty and staff recognition program.
As a student, I worked through accelerating my coursework to be able to obtain an undergraduate degree in three years time. While doing this, it was important to me to apply myself and still acquire professional experience and personal equipping opportunities like a normal student. I have held 3 jobs during school, and had 2 internships.
